2-2 Function
(1) General Electric circuits for this model are DC24V minus grounding consisting of preheating circuit, starting circuit, charging circuit and low current circuit.The preheating circuit is for easy start of engine.The starting circuit is to start the engine.The charging circuit operates while engine is running which charges the battery and also supplies current to the low current circuit.The low current circuit receives current from the battery or charging circuit and operates all electrical units. (2) Functions 1. Preheating circuit Raises the engine suction temperature for easy start of the engine.2. Starting circuit Consists of battery (45), battery relay (10), starter (43), starter relay (15), starting switch (5) and safety relay (8), starts the engine and protects the starter (43).3. Charging circuit With alternator (44) mounted on the engine, charging circuit charges battery (45) and also feeds current to the low current circuit through fuse box (42).4. Low current circuit 1) Light (head, boom and cab) circuit Turns lights (34) for head, boom and cab on.2) Fuel meter circuit, water temperature meter circuit and air pressure meter circuit Indicate the volume of fuel remaining in the fuel tank, temperature of the engine coolant and pressure in the hydraulic tank.3) Hourmeter circuit Indicates the engine running hours.4) Wiper circuit and washer circuit Wipes off dirts on the front wind shield of cab.5) Air horn circuit Blows the air horn.6) Radio circuit Receives FM, AM frequency radio broadcast.7) Cigar lighter circuit Electrically heats a coil used for lighting cigarettes.8) Speed selector circuit Changes the travelling speed.9) Air conditioner circuit Used to operate the air-conditioner.10) Breaker circuit Changes breaking speed of the breaker.11) Fuel feed circuit Drives feed pump to feed fuel to the fuel tank.12) Leveling crowd circuit Used for leveling crowd operation of bucket in LOADER version.13) Stop circuit Automatically stops the engine after turning OFF the starting switch (5).14) Swing brake circuit Used to apply brake to the upperstructure.15) Monitor circuit Monitors engine and hydraulic system by sensors.16) Room light and
