Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Disconnect harness assembly (1) from inlet air temperature sensor (2).
Remove inlet air temperature sensor (2).
Remove O-ring seal from inlet air temperature sensor (2) and discard.Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Install inlet air temperature sensor (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Lubricate a new O-ring seal with clean engine oil. Install the new O-ring seal onto inlet air temperature sensor (2).
Tighten the inlet air temperature sensor (2) to a torque of 24 3 N m (212 27 lb in)
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
