For the pump that does not stroke up, monitor pump regulator control pressure at pressure tap "M4" for Idler pump (Pump 1) or "M3" for Drive pump (pump 2) using pressure gauge. Shut down machine prior to connecting pressure gauge to pump. Start Machine.
When 0 Amps commanded to pump, the pump will be at minimum displacement and pump control pressure will be near zero.
When 1.4A are commanded to the pump, the pump will be at maximum displacement and pump control pressure will rise to pump discharge pressure.
If control pressure does not rise, then the pump PRV valve or pump regulator has likely failed. First replace PRV valve and retry. If needed, replace entire pump regulator assembly.
If control pressure does rise with pump command override but the pump does not stroke up, then there is likely a mechanical failure in the pump or the displacement sensor has failed. If case drain filter is free of debris that would indicate a pump failure, replace pump displacement sensor and retry.
Remove pump and inspect for mechanical failure.
