Personal injury or death may result from failure to adhere to the following procedures.Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire.Clean up all leaked or spilled fuel. Do not smoke while working on the fuel system.Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the machine. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Illustration 1 g03569489The DEF tank is located in storage box on the right side of the machine.
Open the right side storage box.
Clean filler cap and the surrounding area.
Remove the filler cap.
Fill tank with diesel exhaust fluid. Note: Overfilled DEF will cause the possibility of freezing in remote tube. To avoid this problem, Stop refilling when DEF is filled up to top of remote hose. DEF fluid inside remote tube will drop into the tank.Note: Do not refill DEF fluid again once DEF is filled up to top of remote hose.
Install the filler cap.
Close the right side storage box.
