Located in front of the refrigerant condenser
Release the air pressure from the air system prior to disconnecting air hose assemblies by opening the reservoir control valve. Failure to release the air pressure will cause the air pressure to release rapidly, which could cause personal injury.
1. Release the air pressure from the air tank by pushing down on knob (1), located on top of the reservoir control valve.
Located on the right side of the air tank.2. Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and (3) from air dryer (4). 3. Disconnect hose assembly (5) from air dryer (4). 4. Remove pressure sensor wire harness (6) from the clip. Disconnect pressure sensor wire harness (6) at the electrical connection. 5. Remove four nuts (9) and the lock washers that hold air drier (4) to mounting bracket (7). Remove two clamp assemblies (8) and air dryer (4) from mounting bracket (7). The following steps are for the installation of the air dryer. 6. Put air dryer (4) and two clamp assemblies (8) in position on mounting bracket (7). Install four nuts (9) and the lock washers. Tighten four nuts (9) to a torque of 20 4 N m (177 35 lb in). After aligning ports on dryer (4), tighten nuts (9) to a torque of 20 4 N m (177 35 lb in). 7. Connect pressure sensor wiring harness (6) at the electrical connection. Install pressure sensor wiring harness (6) in the clip, as shown. 8. Connect hose assembly (5) to air dryer (4).
Located on the right side of the air tank.9. Connect hose assemblies (2) and (3) to air dryer (4).
Located in front of the refrigerant condenser.10. Make sure knob (1), of the reservoir control valve is in the "UP" position.
