Adjust locknut (2) in order to get a lever force at knob (13) of 40 4 N (9.0 0.9 lb).
Move lever (14) to the high detent position. Adjust end (8) until link assembly (9) is extended to 15 mm (0.60 inch) with lever (7) in the HI IDLE position.
Adjust the length of the link assembly (17) in order to get a free fit between lever (10) and the lever on the control unit. The lever is held against the inside bumper spring.Note: The transmission lever is held against the internal spring bumper when the adjustments are made. Do not compress the spring.
As required, Adjust rod end (F) in order to attain proper length of the link assembly (G) .
