Attach another suitable lifting device.
Disconnect hose assemblies (4) from bucket cylinder (3).
Remove bolt (5).
Remove pin (6). Note: Mark the shims for installation purposes.
Remove bucket cylinder (3). The weight of the bucket cylinder is approximately 136 kg (300 lb). Disassembly and Assembly Information

Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.
Illustration 4 g00937214 (1) Install the bearing to a depth of 10.000 0.500 mm (0.3937 0.0197 inch). (2) Lubricate the face and threads before assembly. Tighten the locknut to a torque of 2800 140 N m (2065 103 lb ft). (3) Lubricate the inside diameter and the outside diameter of the rings and the seal with clean grease. (4) The slit of the ring must turn in the direction of the piston. (5) Lubricate the sealing lip slightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. (6) Install the bearing to a depth of 7.500 0.300 mm (0.2953 0.0118 inch). Installation Procedure

Position bucket cylinder (3). The weight of the bucket cylinder is approximately 136 kg (300 lb).
Position the shims. The total clearance of the shims should be 8 mm (0.3 inch).
Install pin (6). Install the shims.
Install bolt (5). Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 325 40 N m (240 30 lb ft).
Connect hose assemblies (4) onto bucket cylinder (3).

Position bucket cylinder (3).
Position the shims. The total clearance of the shims should be 8 mm (0.3 inch).
Install pin assembly (2).
Install bolt (1). Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 325 40 N m (240 30 lb ft).
