The new 423-6337 Hose As (D) and 423-6338 Hose As (C) are part of 424-1663 Air Conditioner Lines Gp. These hoses will come from the factory protected.For machines already produced, install the 327-4407 Abrasion Sleeve (1) and 7I-1024 Hose Guard (2) as stated in the following instructions to provide protection for the air conditioner hoses without the need to evacuate the air conditioning system.

Cloth abrasion sleeve bundled together with air conditioner hose assemblies (for production machines only)Procedure to wrap the cloth abrasion sleeve and spiral hose guard on air conditioner hose assemblies for B931-115 and B9K1-662 machines:
Use one piece of the cloth abrasion sleeve and 900 mm (35.4 inch) of spiral hose guard to protect each individual air conditioner hose in the hitch.
Slice the cloth abrasion sleeve and wrap around each individual air conditioner hose assembly.
Ensure that the "split in abrasion sleeve" is facing downward. Use zip ties to secure the cloth abrasion sleeve in place temporarily until the spiral hose guard can be installed over the cloth abrasion sleeve. The zip ties will prevent the abrasion sleeve from moving on the hose when wrapping the hose with the spiral hose guard.
Wrap the spiral hose guard around each cloth abrasion sleeve for each air conditioner hose.
After the spiral hose guard is applied, cut off the zip ties. If the zip ties are left on, they can compress the air conditioner hose assemblies causing a possible reduction in air conditioner performance.
