A     185-3630     Strap Wrench     1    Note: The oil filter elements can be replaced without removing the entire oil filter and base assembly from the machine.
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact the skin.Be sure that the engine and components are cool enough to touch with your bare hand prior to performing any service work.
If equipped with a sound suppression arrangement, refer to Special Instruction, "Install the 397-3556 Sound Suppression Panel Gp for the Sound Suppression Arrangement" for specific panel locations and the correct removal or installation procedure.

Loosen the bolts on clamps (6) . Remove clamps (6) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to remove filters (5) .
Drain the oil that is contained in the oil filter base into a suitable container for storage or disposal.
Disconnect harness assembly (1) .
Disconnect hose assembly (2) . Remove clip (3) and position the tube assembly out of the way.
Disconnect tube assemblies (4) .

Remove bolts (8) and remove filter base (7) .Installation Procedure
Install filter base (7) and filters (5) in the reverse order of removal.
