Click on the "Calibrate Truck Payload" option that is located in the drop-down menu. The following dialog box will be shown on the service tool.
Ensure that the truck body is empty. Carryback weight will affect the payload measurement.
Operate the empty truck to a minimum ground speed of 4 mph on hard level ground.
Move the transmission gear selector to the neutral position and allow the truck to coast to a stop. Do not use the service brakes or the retarder.

Click on the "OK" button on the "Calibrate Truck Payload" dialog box. If the calibration is successful, the following message is shown on the service tool:
Illustration 3 g00731776If the calibration was not successful, an error message will inform you that the proper conditions for the payload calibration were not met.
Illustration 4 g00731778Repeat this procedure until the payload calibration has been completed successfully. Click on the "OK" button to return to the "Application" window.
