Information:
Remove Circle Drive
1. Drain the oil from the circle drive housing. Remove nuts (1), nuts (3) and the washers from the studs. 2. Put identification on oil lines (4) as to their location on the circle drive motor. Disconnect the lines.3. Remove bolt (6) and the lockwasher that hold the circle drive housing to the circle drawbar.4. Remove two bolts (5). 5. Install two 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts (7) in the housing. Fasten a hoist to the eyebolts.6. Install tool (A) as shown on the circle drive housing and to the hoist.7. Bend the lock away from nut (2). Remove the nut, the lock, the washer and the O-ring seal.8. Lift circle drive (8) away from the drawbar enough to remove pinion (9) from the shaft and from engagement in the circle.9. Remove the pinion and the circle drive. Weight of circle drive (8) is 205 lb. (93 kg). 10. Remove washer (11) and Duo-Cone seal (10) from the pinion. Remove the Duo-Cone seal from the bottom of the circle drive housing.Install Circle Drive
1. Make sure the Duo-Cone seals for the pinion and the circle drive are clean and dry. Make sure all the metal surfaces that the seals make contact with are clean and dry. 2. Install the Duo-Cone seals in the circle drive and in the pinion with tool (A).3. Put a small amount of oil on the metal surfaces of the seals that make contact with each other.4. Install the washer in the pinion. 5. Install two 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts (1) in the housing. Fasten a hoist to the eyebolts. Install tool (B) on the housing and to the hoist.6. Lift circle drive (2) and put it in position over the circle drawbar. Lower the circle drive enough to put pinion (3) on the shaft and in engagement with the circle. Lower the circle drive on to the drawbar. Remove the hoist, tool (B) and eyebolts (1). Install two bolts (9) and the lockwashers in the housing. 7. Install O-ring seal (4), spacer (5), lock (6) and nut (7) on the shaft. Tighten nut (7) to a torque of 250 50 lb.ft. (339.0 67.8 N m). Bend the lock against nut (7).8. Install the washers and the nuts on the studs in the circle drive housing. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 290 20 lb.ft. (393.2 27.1 N m). 9. Install bolt (10) that holds the circle drive to the drawbar. Tighten bolt (10) to a torque of 290 20 lb.ft. (393.2 27.1 N m).10. Connect oil lines (8) to their correct locations on the circle drive motor. Fill the circle drive housing with SAE 90 oil to its correct level.Disassemble Circle Drive
start by: a) remove circle driveb) remove circle drive motor 1. Remove nuts (1) and the lockwashers that hold bracket (3) to the housing. 2. Install tool (A) on bracket (3) as shown. Use two of nuts (1) to hold tool (A) on the studs.3.

Install the washers and the nuts on the studs in the circle drive housing. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 290 20 lb.ft. (393.2 27.1 N m). 9. Install bolt (10) that holds the circle drive to the drawbar. Tighten bolt (10) to a torque of 290 20 lb.ft. (393.2 27.1 N m).10. Connect oil lines (8) to their correct locations on the circle drive motor. Fill the circle drive housing with SAE 90 oil to its correct level.Disassemble Circle Drive
