Secure communication radio group (4) to the cab by using four bolts (5) and four washers (6).Note: The AC dryer may need to be lowered to allow adequate space to work.

Secure the "X-C4" connector from control harness assembly (2) to the PL641 communication radio group (4).Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.
Secure the "X-C2" connector from control harness assembly (2) to the "MC-C21" satellite connector that is part of the cab harness.Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.

Route cable assembly (7) through the existing grommet at the bottom of the cab and along the existing harness assembly toward the handrail.Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.

Secure plate (8) to the existing handrail by using two U-bolts (9), four hard washers (10), and two nuts (11).Secure antenna assembly (12) to plate (8).Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.
Connect cable assembly (7) to PL641 communication radio group (4).Route cable assembly (7) up the handrail and connect cable assembly (7) to antenna assembly (12).Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.
Reconnect the battery at the master disconnect switch.

Connect Cat ET Winflash to the machine using the Ethernet connection.
Load the PL641 flash file.

Connect through the ECM finder and load the PL641 config file.

Connect ET using a Comm Adapter, access Winflash, and load the brake, chassis, VIMS main, VIMS app, and advisor flash files.
Connect the VIMS cable and load the VIMS main and VIMS app configuration files.
Cycle power. (Key off machine for 2 minutes)
Connect ET and confirm that software and configuration installation.Load the previously saved configurations.
Compare the current configuration to the previously saved product status report. Change the configurations that have not carried over.

Select "VIMS Main Module" and change the "PLM Enable Status (Billing)" to "Disabled".
Select "PL641" and change the Product ID to the machine serial number.
Call Back Office to register the machine and to confirm the connection.
Once the connection is confirmed, take another Product Status Report.
Reinstall the panels that were removed from inside the cab.
Reinstall the panels that were removed from outside the cab.
