Remove plug (F) from the filter head and discard the part.Note: Leave the larger adapter (G) installed.
Install elbow (1) using O-Ring seal (2) as shown in Illustration 7.
Disconnect old 438-8236 Hose As and adapter from side of filter head. Discard the adapter and seals if required.
Reinstall new hose (6) to the elbow (1) using an O-Ring seal (3) as shown in Illustration 7.
Install plug (4) to the side of the filter using an O-Ring seal (5) as shown in Illustration 7.
