Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install transmission hydraulic control valves (14) on the transmission. Install four 9/16 inch head bolts (13) .

Install relief valve (11) , the washers, and three bolts (12) on the transmission hydraulic control valves.

Install two tubes (9) . Install tabs (10) and the two bolts.

Connect electrical connector (8) .

Push the connector into the case. Install nut (7) on connector (6) .

Install three plugs (4) . Connect tube assembly (3) .

Install plates (1) , the washers, and 17 bolts (2) . Install the gasket on the larger plate.Note: If the rear cover is removed for any reason, replace the gasket with a new gasket for the applicable model. A new gasket is recommended in order to prevent leakage.
Fill the hydraulic system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7160, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check" for the correct procedure.
