The new trash resistant radiator is for use in applications where plugging is a problem. The new radiator is easily accessible, easier to clean, replace, and service in the field. It has a fin density of six fins per inch, versus the nine fins per inch of the standard radiator. The steel fins also resist bending and the extra row of water tubes help retain calculated cooling capacity. In conjunction with the new radiator, a new ejector fan arrangement with a 15 per cent increase in fan speed is also available.
The new 8Q0729 Trash Resistant Radiator and 8Q0733 Ejector Fan Arrangement are direct replacements for the machines listed above and are adaptable to all earlier machines requiring the features of the new radiator and ejector fan.
