Remove plunger (17) and spring (18) from head assembly (1).
Remove O-ring seals (19) and port plate (21) from head assembly (1).
Remove piston (20).

If necessary, remove cylinder (22) and guide (23) from head assembly (1).
Remove bearing cup (24).

Remove cap (25) from head assembly (1). Measure the height of adjustment screw (26) for assembly purposes.
Remove adjustment screw (26), nut (27), and the O-ring seal.

Remove O-ring seal (28) from housing assembly (30).
Remove bearing cone (29) and shim (31).

Remove rotating group (32) from pump housing (30).

Remove retainer (33), piston assemblies (34), and bearing (36) from barrel assembly (35).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Note: There is spring force against retaining ring (37). When retaining ring (37) is removed, the spring force will be released. Removal of the internal assembly components in barrel (35) should be performed in a press.
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to compress the spring in barrel assembly (35).
Remove retaining ring (37), spring (40), guide (39), and pins (38) from barrel assembly (35).

Remove swashplate assembly (41) from pump housing (30).
Remove shaft assembly (42) from pump housing (30).

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to remove bearing cone (43) from shaft assembly (42).

Remove bearing cup (45) from pump housing (30).
