SEAL 2126681 - Caterpillar

There is no clearance for a person in the area between the front and rear frames when the machine is turned to either side. When a machine is to be lifted, transported on another vehicle, or service work is to be performed near the center of the machine, connect the anti-pivot link between the front and rear frames. This will keep the machine in a straight ahead position. Before operating the machine, be sure the anti-pivot link is disconnected and put into the storage position.
1. Remove lockpin (2) and pin (1) that hold anti-pivot link (3) in position on the rear frame. Move the anti-pivot link from the storage position on the rear frame. 2. Move anti-pivot link (3) to the front frame. Install pin (1) and lockpin (2) that hold the anti-pivot link in place. 3. Remove lockpin (2) and pin (1) that hold anti-pivot link (3) in place on the front frame. 4. Move anti-pivot link (3) into the storage position. Install pin (1) and lockpin (2) that hold the anti-pivot link in place.
