Install the bottom half of the new 294-9631 Clamp As (13) to the two new 310-7675 Brackets (14) by using two new 5P-1076 Hard Washers (15) and two new 8T-4183 Bolts (16). Refer to Illustration 9.

Place the new 313-9427 Diesel Particulate Filter Group (1) onto the bottom half of clamp assembly (13). The weight of the diesel particulate filter group is approximately 50.35 kg (111 lb). Locate the legs of the outlet module end of the diesel particulate filter to the outermost holes of two brackets (14). Secure the diesel particulate filter to the bracket by using two new 8T-4183 Bolts (16), two new 5P-1076 Hard Washers (15), two new 296-3542 Lockwashers (17), and two new 8T-4244 Nuts (18). Refer to Illustration 10.

Place the assembled components (two brackets (14), bottom half of clamp assembly (13), and diesel particulate filter group (1) ) on the hood of the machine and insert the inlet module tube of the diesel particulate filter group into tube assembly (12). Refer to Illustration 11.
Mark the locations of the mounting bolt holes on bracket (14) on the hood. Also mark the locations where the bolt heads of the bolts that are used to secure the diesel particulate filter group are located. Remove the assembled components (two brackets (14), bottom half of clamp assembly (13), and diesel particulate filter group (1) ) and drill holes in the marked locations.
Slide clamp assembly (3) onto tube assembly (12) .

Place the assembled components (two brackets (14), bottom half of clamp assembly (13), and diesel particulate filter group (1) ) on top of the hood and insert the inlet module tube of the diesel particulate filter group into tube assembly (12).
Secure the assembled components to the hood by using four new 8T-4183 Bolts (16), four new 5P-1076 Hard Washers (15) (placed on top of brackets (14) near the bolt head), two new 5P-1076 Hard Washers (15) (placed under bracket (14) on the end near clamp assembly (13) and above the hood), two new 7D-1649 Hard Washers (19) and two new 7M-4672 Washers (20) (placed under bracket (14) on the end near the outlet module and above the hood), four new 296-3542 Lockwashers (17) and four new 8T-4244 Nuts (18). Refer to Illustration 12.

Install the top half of clamp assembly (13) onto the bottom half of clamp assembly (13) using two 6V-3823 Bolts , two 5P-8245 Hard Washers , two 3B-4508 Lockwashers and two 6V-8149 Nuts . Tighten the nuts to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft). Refer to Illustration 13.
