PROBLEM
The existing right-hand platform structure can crack on certain 793D Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing structure cracks it can droop and cause problems with other systems.

ACTION REQUIRED
Refer to Special Instructions REHS5051 "Procedure to Improve the Support for the Right Hand Platform" to rework the right-hand platform.

This is a 26.5-hour job
If there has been a previous repair, part age/hours will apply. Retain a copy of the previous repair invoice in the dealer's records for audit purposes, and specify repair date and machine hours in the "Additional Comments" section of the warranty claim.
The 26.5 hour allowance includes fabricating the necessary plates (See Special Instruction REHS5051). A maximum of $125 material cost has been authorized for all plate material. Where possible, work this service letter along with REBE5348 and REBE5349.
