(4) Fuel coolerThe cooling package is located at the rear of the engine compartment. The engine compartment cover provides access to the components.The cooling package consists of several cooling cores. The cooling cores are as follows:
Hydraulic oil cooler (1) is located in the upper left portion of the cooling package. This core cools the hydraulic oil for the propel and auxiliary systems.
The air-to-air aftercooler (ATAAC) (2) is located in the upper right portion of the cooling package. This core cools the engine intake air charge after the turbocharger.
Radiator (3) is located in the lower portion of the cooling package. This core cools the engine coolant.
Fuel cooler (4) is located in front of the radiator, in the lower left portion of the cooling package. This core cools excess fuel leaving the engine, as the fuel is returned to the tank.When the fan is running, air is drawn from in front of the cores through openings in the top of the hood. The air flows across the cores and is directed out the rear of the machine.
