(1) Torque converter, hoist, brake, and transmission hydraulic tank (2) Torque converter, hoist, and brake section (3) Transmission sectionThe torque converter, hoist, brake, and transmission hydraulic tank (1) is located on the outside of the right side of the frame. The transmission section (3) is separated from the torque converter, hoist, and brake section (2) by a wall inside the hydraulic tank (1). The transmission section (3) supplies oil for the operation of the transmission. The torque converter, hoist, and brake section (2) supplies oil to the brakes, to the brake cooling system, to the torque converter system, and to the hoist hydraulics. An air breather for section (2) and an air breather for section (3) are located on the vertical frame member on the right side of the truck.The torque converter, hoist, and brake section (2) has two sight gauges. The top sight gauge is generally used for checking the oil level. The bottom sight gauge can be used when the hoist cylinders are in the RAISE position. The transmission section (3) also has two sight gauges. The bottom sight gauge is used for checking the oil level with cold oil. The top sight gauge is used for checking the oil level with hot oil.
