A 1P-1855 Retaining Ring Pliers 1 Note: Inspect the O-ring seals. Replace any O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.Note: When the O-ring seals are installed, lubricate the O-ring seals with the fluid that is being sealed.

Install spring (13).
Install valve (14).
Install O-ring seal (15).
Install bypass switch (10).

Install spring (7).
Install retainer (6).
Install O-ring seal (4) and plug (1).
Use Tool (A) to install retaining ring (8).
Install screen assembly (5) (not shown).
Install housing (2) to base (3). Note: Use the torque that is necessary to bottom housing (2) on base (3). Do not use an air wrench.End By:
Install the torque converter outlet screen. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Outlet Screen - Remove and Install".
