If the snubber pads were removed, apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound on the threads of the bolts that secure the snubber pads in position on the front axle. Position the snubber pads on the front axle and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 20 4 N m (15 3 lb ft).

Pack bearing (15) with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease. Install bearing (15) in front axle (10) .
Install snap rings (13) that hold bearing (15) in place.
Install seals (12) and (14) in the front axle, as shown. Put a small amount of 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease on the seal lips. Fill the cavity between the seals with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease .

Put front axle (10) in position in the front axle saddle by using Tooling (A) .
Align the bores in the front axle saddle with the bore in the front axle. Install pin (11) through the front axle and the front axle saddle. Make sure that the flats on the end of the pin are positioned so that retainer plate (7) can be installed properly.
Put retainer plate (7) in position. Install two bolts (8) and the washers. Install the two washers and bolt (9) .

Use Tooling (A) to put belt tensioner cylinder (5) in position. Install the spacer and pin (6). Install the bushing, the washer, and bolt (4) .

Use a vehicle with forks to position idler wheels (3) on both spindles (1). Install two bolts (2) in order to secure the idler wheels to the spindle.End By: Install the belts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
