Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Remove the fuel priming pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Priming Pump and Primary Filter (Water Separator) - Remove and Install".

(A) OFF position. (B) ON position.
Turn the secondary disconnect switch to the OFF position (A) .
Open the engine hood. The governor is located on the left side of the machine.

Disconnect wire connector (2) from governor (1) .

Remove clip (3). Disconnect rod (4) from governor (1) .

Remove bolt (5) and the washer.
Remove bolt (6) and the washer.

Remove three bolts (8) and the washers. Remove the governor with plate assembly (7) .
Remove the three bolts from plate assembly (7). Remove the governor.Installation Procedure

Install the governor onto plate assembly (7) with three bolts.
Install the governor and plate assembly (7) with three bolts (8) and washers.

Install bolt (6) and the washer.
Install bolt (5) and the washer.

Install rod (4) onto governor (1) with clip (3).

Connect wire connector (2) to governor (1) .
Close the engine hood.
