Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Note: Ensure that the shoulder of the impeller is against the step in the shaft. Impeller (30) is left hand threads.
Place shaft (28) into a soft jawed vise. Apply Tooling (H) to the threads that are on shaft (28). Install impeller (30). Use Tooling (E) in order to tighten impeller (30) to a torque of 103 13 N m (76 10 lb ft).Note: Impeller (30) has left hand threads.
Install port plate (32) onto shaft (28) .Note: The hole in port plate (32) for shaft (28) is smaller than the hole in plate (29) .
Install spacer (33) onto shaft (28) .Note: The length of spacer (33) is 18.0 mm (0.71 inch).

Install one half of seal assembly (34) into body (21) .
Install one half of seal assembly (34) onto shaft (28) .
Install sleeve (35) onto shaft (28) .Note: The length of sleeve (35) is 22.8 mm (0.89 inch).
Position shaft assembly (28) into body (21). Note: Ensure that the locating pin on plate (32) is engaged into body (21) .

Use Tooling (C) to install bearing (20) into bearing housing (13) .
