Attach.(1-Rework Procedure)Rework Procedure
The following procedure details the installation of a reduced rimpull control system.
Refer to Illustration 1 for the general layout of components.
1. Locate the transmission control on the right platform as shown in Illustration 6.Replace transmission control box with a 1342545 Control Group - Powertrain and reattach the wiring harness.2. Remove the covers as required to gain access for mounting and routing of new wires. Tie wrap the new harness to existing harnesses, hydraulic lines or clips as needed.3. Illustration 3 shows the location of 1338347 Lamp Harness. A new 1250054 Film has a space for the indicator lamp and replaces the existing film.4. Install a new 1280301 CMS Panel and 1090676 Film in the right corner. Tie wrap the 1338347 Harness under the dash on existing harness and route to the right console area. Plug circuit 975 WH into pin # 8 and 679 GY of 1338347 Harness into pin #22 of the main electrical block inside the cab. The main electrical block is labelled 'A' in Illustration 1.5. Cut hole in the cover of the hydraulic implement control console as shown in Illustration 2. Mount 1236379 Switch in console.6. Connect the 1338349 and 1338350 Harnesses together and connect to 1236379 Switch, mount and route as shown in Illustration 4. Continue routing harness under floor mat to front right corner of cab, under side cover and up to right side instrument panel.7. On 1338350 Harness, plug circuit 164 WH into pin #1, and F741 WH into pin #19 on main electrical block inside of cab, labeled B in Illustration 1. Plug blade terminals 200 BK and 600 BR on 1338349 Harness into auxiliary terminals on harness behind right instrument panel. Heat shrink over blade terminal connections. Terminals are taped and tie wrapped into main harness and will have to be cut loose in order to connect to them.
8. Install the 1236384 Switch and 2V0099 Knob in right side console as shown in Illustration 5. Install the 1345066 Film at same location.9. Install 1338348 Harness to the 1236384 Rotary switch.Connect E989 WH to terminal #2, and E988 PU to terminal #3.The other end of 1338348 Harness goes to main electrical block inside of cab labeled B in Illustration 1, Circuit E988 PU to pin #23, and E989 WH to pin #24.10. The 1338374 Harness is connected to terminal #1 on the 1236384 Rotary Switch with the other end of the harness going to quick shift switch. Pull out terminal 202 BK from back of quick shift switch, plug male blade of the harness into 202 BK, and heat shrink over connections. Install blade receptacle on 1338374 Harness into plug connector on the back of the quick shift switch where 202BK was installed.11. The 1338351 Harness goes between the main cab terminals behind the side access door and the platform mounted transmission control box.12.

The 1338374 Harness is connected to terminal #1 on the 1236384 Rotary Switch with the other end of the harness going to quick shift switch. Pull out terminal 202 BK from back of quick shift switch, plug male blade of the harness into 202 BK, and heat shrink over connections. Install blade receptacle on 1338374 Harness into plug connector on the back of the quick shift switch where 202BK was installed.11. The 1338351 Harness goes between the main cab terminals behind the side access door and the platform mounted transmission control box.12.
