The OCP shows previous and current events from both the OCP and external modules. These events are organized into logs for each physical OCP module.The logs include the following:STATUS EVENTS - Recent event historyLOCAL EVENTS - Events for the OCPENGINE CONTROL - Events for a primary CAN data link compatible engine ECMTHERMOCOUPLE - Events for the thermocouple moduleEXTERNAL I/O - Events for the discrete input/output (DIO) moduleRTD MODULE - Events for the resistive temperature device (RTD) moduleSCR MODULE - Events for engine after treatment systemsThe generator set control log stores events that are generated by the OCP. Any other event is stored within the module that generated the event. Even if the OCP annunciates an event, that does not mean that the OCP logs that event. The event may be within the log of another module.Each log is visible only if the module is connected to the appropriate data link. The module must be connected to either the primary data link or the accessory data link. The module must be communicating with the OCP.The list of event logs can be viewed by pressing the "Event Log" key or via the "VIEW" submenu. Select the log that you wish to view and press the "OK" key to view the events.The OCP supports more than one instance of some of the above modules. Those modules are uniquely identified with a number at the end of the log name.The module number is software-configured, and is called the "ECU INSTANCE NUMBER". The ECU instance number can be viewed and modified by the Caterpillar service tool.An event in the OCP set control log can be in one of three states:
Present
Active

Present This state is only applicable to the OCP set control log. Present means that the condition that caused the event is still present. The condition must be addressed before the event can be reset.
This state only applies to OCP Control events. Other modules will not have present in logs.
Active The event was previously in a "Present" state, but event
