Remove the underspeed/override valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Underspeed Override Valve - Remove".

Remove oil lines (1) from the underspeed valve and the pilot-overspeed valve.
Remove tee (2) from the underspeed valve.

Install Tooling (A) in the hole in plug (3). Rotate the rod of Tooling (A) as far as possible into the underspeed valve stem. Hold the rod of Tooling (A) so the rod will not turn. Tighten nut (4) until the stem in the underspeed valve is tight against the plug at the top of the valve.

Remove the bolt that holds the linkage to stem (5) in the pilot-overspeed valve.
Move the speed/direction control lever to the right so rod end (6) can be disconnected from the bracket. Disconnect rod end (6) .

Hold the rod of Tooling (A) so the rod will not turn. Loosen nut (4) until the stem in the underspeed valve is completely down. Remove Tooling (A) from the underspeed valve.

Remove lever (7) and the key from the shaft.

Remove ten allen bolts (8) and plate (9) from the case. Plate (9) can be tight on the boss on the underspeed valve because there is an O-ring seal on the boss.

Remove underspeed valve (10) from the case.
