Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the Generator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Generator- Remove and Install".
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.
Drain the fuel into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.

Open access panel (1).
Remove the hose assembly (2).

Remove straps (4) and tie straps (8).
Disconnect wire assemblies (7). Remove three bolts (3) and reposition wiring harness assembly (6).
Remove hose assemblies (5) and (9).

Remove clamps (10). Remove and reposition wire harness assembly (12).
Remove three bolts (11) and three washer from fuel tank (13).
Attach a suitable lifting device to fuel tank (13). The weight of fuel tank (13) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb)Installation Procedure
Install fuel tank (9) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
