These illustrations are of an earlier machine. 1. Remove fire extinguisher (1) and the bracket if so equipped from the ROPS. Steps 2 and 3 are for earlier machines only.
EARLIER MACHINE ONLY2. Disconnect wire (3) from wire (4) for the backup alarm.3. Remove clips (2) that hold wire (3) to the ROPS.4. Install tool (A) and a hoist on the ROPS. Step 5 is for earlier machines only.
EARLIER MACHINE ONLY5. Remove bolt (5) from each side that holds the ROPS to bracket (6). Earlier machines have ten bolts (7) and later machines have eighteen bolts (7) that hold the ROPS in place. 6. Remove bolts (7) from each side that hold the ROPS in position on the support. Use tool (A) and a hoist to remove ROPS (8). The weight is approximately 1200 lb. (540 kg). For repair and maintenance of the ROPS see Form SEHS6929. 7. Make sure surfaces "X" of the support and ROPS are clean. The following steps are for installation of the ROPS.8. Use a hoist and tool (A) to put ROPS (8) in position on the support.9. Install bolts (7) on each side that hold the ROPS to the support. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1000 120 lb.ft. (1355 165 N m). Steps 10 through 12 are for earlier machines only.10. Install bolt (5) on each side that holds the ROPS to bracket (6).11. Connect wire (3) to wire (4).12. Install clips (2) that hold wire (3) to the ROPS.13. If so equipped, install the bracket and fire extinguisher (1) on the ROPS.
