Governor Selection Procedure
Connect the DDT to the ESS. Display the screen number 32 on the DDT. "GOVERNOR" will be displayed on the top line of the DDT screen number 32 .
Press "ALT1" in order to toggle between "ISOCHRONOUS" and "DROOP" modes.
Press "ENTER" in order to program the ESS with the desired mode.Governor Droop Setting Procedure
Connect the DDT to the ESS. Display the screen number 31 on the DDT. "DROOP SETTING" will be displayed on the top line of the DDT screen number 31 .
Press the "ALT1" key.
Enter the desired percent of the governor droop.
Press the "ENTER" key in order to program the ESS with the desired governor droop.High Idle Setting Procedure
Connect the DDT to the ESS. Display the screen number 30 on the DDT. "ENG HIGH IDLE" will be displayed on the top line of the DDT screen number 30 .Note: The initial setting of the high idle that will be displayed on the DDT screen number 30 will be equivalent to the upper rpm setting that is programmed into the Personality Module.
Press the "ALT1" key.
Enter the desired high idle speed in rpm.
Press the "ENTER" key in order to program the ESS with the desired high idle speed.Use the following procedure in order to adjust the fuel system linkage.
Assemble the rod in order to provide equal thread engagement in each rod end.
A final adjustment of the linkage is required in order to ensure that when the fuel valve is in the closed position the actuator is not over rotating the valve stem but is sufficiently closing the valve.
Fully extend the actuator and close the fuel valve. Rotate the clevis by 1/2 a turn. Make sure that the clevis is turning away from the metering valve.
Lock the linkage in place.
Ensure that the metering valve can still reach the full open position.

Assemble the actuator (1) so that the inlet ports (2) and the outlet ports (3) are aligned as shown in the above illustration. The actuator ports are stamped Inlet and Outlet .
