Information:
The space between the body and the frame becomes a zero clearance area when the body is lowered. Failure to install the retaining cable can result in injury or death to personnel working in this area.
Personal injury can result from hot oil or hot components.At operating temperature, oil is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns.Remove the fill cap only when the engine is stopped, and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Install the truck body retaining cables. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cable (Truck Body Retaining)".
Release the system pressure. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure Release".
Drain the hydraulic tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Tank Oil - Change - Hoist and Brake System" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Tank Oil - Change - Steering System".

Remove drive shaft guard (1).

Remove bolts (2). Use a suitable lifting device to secure drive shaft (3) out of the way.

Remove tube assembly (4). Disconnect hose assembly (5). Remove tube assembly (6).

Disconnect hose assembly (7). Remove clips (8).

Disconnect hose assembly (9). Remove clips (10) and clips (11).

Attach a suitable lifting device onto piston pump (22). The weight of piston pump (22) is approximately 215 kg (474 lb).
Use Tooling (A) or Tooling (B) to remove nuts (23). Remove piston pump (22).

Remove O-ring seal (24).Installation Procedure
Install piston pump (22) in the reverse order.
