PROBLEM
The 8T-0281 Hitch Plate Bolts may come loose and need to be inspected for proper torque and replaced on certain 992K and 992K2 Large Wheel Loaders. The existing bolts can come loose and cause an upper hitch failure.

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the bolts from top plate of the upper hitch.
Add or remove shims, as needed, and then install new bolts and torque. Follow the upper plate shimming procedure that is included in KENR7597, Disassembly and Assembly, "Loader Frame and Rear Frame - Connect".
