To prevent personal injury, release the pressure in the air reservoirs and hydraulic system before any lines are disconnected.
1. Disconnect wires (2) from the air pressure indicator switch.2. Disconnect air inlet hose assembly (4) and makeup fluid inlet hose assembly (1).3. Disconnect brake tube assembly (3), and remove four mounting bolts (5) from the master cylinder. Remove the brake cylinder and actuator from the vehicle. The following steps are for installation of the brake cylinder and actuator.4. After the brake master cylinder and actuator is rebuilt or replaced, install it in positin on the tractor frame.5. Connect tube assembly (3) and hose assembly (1) to the master cylinder.6. Connect hose assembly (4) to the air cylinder.7. Connect wires (2) to the air pressure indicator switch.8. Remove two nuts (4) that fasten the brake master cylinder and actuator to the scraper frame. Remove the unit. The following steps are for the installation of the brake master cylinder and actuator.4. Install the master cylinder and actuator in the scraper frame.5. Connect brake tube assembly (2) and tube assembly (1) from the brake fluid reservoir.6. Connect wires (3) to the air pressure indicator switch.7. Remove air from the hydraulic brake system. START BY:a. remove brake master cylinder and actuator 1. Remove nuts (3), and make a separation of cylinder (1) from tube assembly (2). 2. Put a small amount of compression on spring (4). Loosen and remove nut (5) from tube assembly (2).3. Remove switch assembly (6) and the rod indicator from tube assembly (2). 4. Put a small amount of compression on spring (4). Use tool (A) to remove the retaining ring from the shaft. 5. Remove piston (7), retainer valve (9), retaining ring (8), nut (5) and spring (4) from piston assembly (10). 6. Remove vee seal (11) from piston (7). 7. Remove seal valve (12) from retainer valve (9). 8. Remove vee seals (13) and O-ring seal (14) from nut (5). 9. Remove nut (15) and the washer from the piston assembly. 10. Remove seal carrier (21) from shaft (19).11. Remove spring (22) and felt seal (18) from the seal carrier.12. Remove piston cup (16) from piston (20).13. Remove O-ring seal (17) and piston (20) from shaft (19).Assemble Brake Master Cylinder And Actuator
