The SIO board is located inside the left front door and is mounted on the left component panel. Route the interface cables as far away from power cables as possible in order to minimize EMI electromagnetic interference. Refer to Illustration 1.Remote Emergency Power Off Switch
The remote emergency power off switch is an external interface. This interface is intended for use by the customer when a custom system is set up. The remote switch is equivalent to the local switch.The connector consists of two pairs of contacts. One pair of contacts is for a normally open switch and the other pair is for a normally closed switch. The switches may be used individually or the switches may be used together. The contacts are located on the I/O module. Refer to Illustration 1. Note: If the normally closed remote switch is not used, this pair of contacts must be jumpered for normal operation.Dry Contact Relays
The system has six pairs of contacts for input. The contacts are "A" type. The contacts are located on the system I/O module. Refer to Illustration 1. Each input is intended to interface to a single-pole single-throw switch. The switch connects the pair of contacts or the switch disconnects the pair of contacts. The contacts that are user programmable have an operating parameter. The operating parameter is used in order to configure that contact. The following list of functions can be assigned to the contacts for the remote input block. Assignments are done by entering a parameter in the operating parameter for the associated remote input.
