Remove three bolts (4) and the washers that secure guard (3) to the tank. Remove the guard from the tank.

Remove 12 bolts (6), the washers, and six half clamps (5) in order to disconnect two hoses (7) and pipe (8) from the tank. Remove the O-ring seals from hoses (7). Remove the O-ring seal from pipe (8) .

Remove bolt (9), the washer, and hose clamp (11) in order to disconnect hose (7) from the fender. Remove bolt (10), the washer, and hose clamp (12) in order to disconnect pipe (8) from the fender.

Remove bolt (13), the washer, and hose clamp (14) in order to disconnect hose (7) from the fender.

Remove four bolts (17), the washers, and two half clamps (19) in order to disconnect hose (16) from the tank. Remove the O-ring seal from hose (16). Remove two band clamps (22) and hose (15) from the tank. Remove four bolts (20), the washers, and two half clamps (21) in order to disconnect hose (18) from the tank. Remove the O-ring seal from hose (18). Move the hoses aside.

Disconnect hose (23) from the tank. Remove the O-ring seal from hose (23). Move the hose aside.

Remove 4 bolts (24), the washers, and two half clamps (25) in order to disconnect hose (26) from brake oil cooler (27). Remove the O-ring seal from hose (26). Move the hose aside.

Remove 4 bolts (28), the washers, and two half clamps (29) in order to disconnect hose (30) from the tank. Remove the O-ring seal from hose (30). Disconnect hoses (31) and (32) from the tank. Remove the O-ring seals from hoses (31) and (32). Move the hoses aside.

Attach Tooling (A), appropriate nylon lifting slings, and a hoist to the tank, as shown. The tank must be held level when the tank is removed.

Remove bolt (39), nut (38), hard washer (37), and hard washer (36) in order to remove the tank. Bolt (39) is installed through the top plate of the tank. There is a hard washer under the hex head of bolt (39). Shims (34), mounting (35), and steel sleeve (40) (not shown) will be removed from mounting bracket (33) after the tank has been removed from the machine.

There are two mounting assemblies on the bottom of the tank. The graphic that is above shows one of the two mountings from a point below the machine frame. Remove bolts (44), hard washers (43), hard washers (42), nuts (49), and washers (46) in order to remove the tank. Shims (47), mounting (41), and steel sleeve (45) (not shown) will be removed from the machine frame after the tank has been removed from the machine.
Remove the tank from the machine. The weight of the tank is 310 kg (684 lb). Use appropriate cribbing in order to place the tank in a level orientation.
