Sawhead discharge debris may be increased in rough or hilly terrain. Heavier debris has the potential to travel greater distances. Always be aware of the flight angle of the sawhead discharge.Avoid cutting when people, domestic animals, building or personal property are located on the discharge side of the saw. Reposition the disc saw as necessary to avoid possible damage caused by the saw discharge.
Illustration 1 g00938876The disc saw can be equipped with two types of teeth: steel beaver teeth and super carbide teeth.The super carbide teeth should be used in severe hi-impact harvesting conditions. The super carbide teeth have a high cutting ability. The steel beaver teeth are used under normal conditions. The super carbide option is used in sandy areas that would otherwise shorten the life of standard teeth.
