Procedure For Installation Of The Screens
Before the screen assembly can be installed in the main control valve line, three (3) 4D9376 Bosses must be welded to the tank as shown in Illustration 1. Then, place the 6G2454 Screen Assembly in position, as shown in Illustration 2, and fasten with three (3) 310218 Bolts and three (3) 5M2894 Washers.

Illustration 3. Location of parts for suction steering line.To install the screen assembly on the cushion hitch suction line, remove the 5D8805 Clamp from the line and install the 6G2451 Screen Assembly in its place. The screen assembly has its own mounting clamp. (See Illustration 2).
Before the 6D6692 Tube Assembly can be installed on the suction steering line, the 9D752 Diffuser must be removed and the 9D6941 Diffuser installed in its place. Then, remove the 6D5154 Tube Assembly and install the 9D6692 Tube Assembly. Next, connect the 6G2453 Screen Assembly to the tube assembly with two (2) 3D353 Bolts, four (4) 5M2894 Washers and two (2) 2N2766 Locknuts. (See Illustration 3).
