2. Loosen clamps (1) and slide hose (2) clear of the elbow. 3. Remove four bolts (3) from the left side of the radiator shield. 4. Remove four bolts (4) from the right side of the radiator shield. 5. Remove three fan guards (6).6. Remove six nuts (5) and put fan and adapter (7) against the radiator core.
Do not cause damage to the radiator core with the fan.
7. Remove ten bolts (9). Remove cover (8). 8. Remove six bolts (11). Remove radiator guard (10). The weight of the radiator guard is 20 lb. (9 kg). 9. Disconnect elbow (12) from the bottom of the radiator. 10. Remove the four corner bolts (13) from the top of the radiator. 11. Install a piece of wire (14) or rope on the radiator shield to keep the fan and adapter in place while the radiator core is removed. 12. Install two 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts (15) in the top of the radiator. Fasten a hoist to the radiator. Remove radiator core (16). The weight of the radiator core is 150 lb. (68 kg).13. Remove the fan and adapter from the radiator core.14. Remove the shield assembly (17).Install Radiator Core
1. Install shield assembly (1) on the radiator core.2. Put the fan and adapter (2) in position in the radiator core. Install a piece of wire or rope on the shield to keep fan and adapter in place while the radiator core is installed. 3. Install two 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts (3) in the top of the radiator. Fasten a hoist to the radiator core. Put the radiator core (4) in position in the radiator guard. Install the four corner bolts in the top of the radiator. Install the eight bolts in the shield assembly. 4. Install a new gasket on the elbow. Connect elbow (5) to the bottom of the radiator. 5. Put radiator guard (6) in position. Install the bolts that hold it. 6. Put cover (7) in position. Install the bolts that hold it.7. Install fan and adapter (10) on the fan drive. 8. Install fan guards (8).9.
