2. Remove the six bolts (1) and washers from the crankcase guard (2). Remove the crankcase guard. 3. Remove twenty of the bolts (3) and washers that hold the oil pan in position. 4. Put a floor jack in position under the oil pan. Disconnect oil level gauge tube (4) from the oil pan. Remove the four bolts and washers that hold the oil pan in position. Remove the oil pan. Weight of the oil pan is 45 lb. (20 kg).Install Oil Pan
1. Put a new gasket in position on the oil pan.2. Put the oil pan in position on the engine.3. Install the twenty-four bolts and washers that hold the oil pan in position. Connect the oil level gauge tube to the oil pan.4. Install the crankcase guard.5. Fill the engine with oil to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
