If adminstered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Before Failure: Remove listed parts and install new parts according to the attached Rework Procedure.
After Failure: Remove the cracked housing and listed parts and install new housing and parts according to instructions.

Installation of Compressor Support
Current Configuration of Compressor Assembly, PA-8926, W2000 Road Milling Machine.
1) Remove Fuel Manifold, 103-4656, from Bracket As., 141-9308, leave hoses attached to manifold. Discard bolts, and keep washers for installation in STEP 9. 2) Remove Bracket As., 141-9308, keep bolts, 0S-1571 (3), for reinstallation in STEP 6.Discard Bracket As., washers, 5M-2894 (4), and Bolt 0S-1591 (1). 3) Disconnect Hose As.,101-6596, from fitting, 2N-1287, on rear of compressor. The Hose As. will be reinstalled in STEP 8. 4) Remove both bolts or existing studs nearest to the block on the rear of the compressorand discard. 5) Install (2) 146-0835 studs on back of compressor.Insert end of stud with 15 mm of thread into compressor Tighten to 20 N-m, reference tightening specs on 184-2514. 6) Place Bracket As., 183-7035, as shown on Assembly dwg. 184-2514.Reuse Bolts 0S-1571 (3) from STEP 2 and shipped bolt 0S-1571(1) and washers 9x-6458 (4).Reference tightening torque, and sequence to avoid breaking studs. Bracket 183-7035 Assembled 7) Remove Fitting 2N-1287 from rear plate of compressor. Install new fitting 2N-1287 at a 10 degree angle to the vertical axis of the compressor. 8) Couple Hose As., 101-6596, to fitting,2N-1287.Hose should not interfere with Bracket As 183-7035. 9) Reinstall Fuel Manifold removed in STEP 1, use existing washersand new bolts 0T-0573.End of installation procedure.
