A 1P-510 Driver Group 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision components of the pump. All disassembly and all assembly procedures must be performed on a clean work surface and in a clean area. Keep cleaned parts covered and protected at all times.

Install bearings (16) in body assembly (14) with Tooling (A). Install the bearings with the joint 30 15 degrees from the centerline of the dowels (17). Install the bearings to a depth of 1.50 0.25 mm (0.059 0.010 inch) below the surface of the body assembly. The inside diameter of the bearings must be 31.785 0.008 mm (1.2514 0.0003 inch) after installation.
Install dowels (17) until the dowels are extended 5.0 0.5 mm (0.20 0.02 inch) above the surface of the body assembly. Note: O-rings, gaskets, and seals should always be replaced. A used O-ring may not have the same sealing properties as a new O-ring. A reconditioning procedure should not be degraded because of a low cost component such as an O-ring or a gasket. Use 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound during the assembly procedure.
Install O-ring seals (15).

Install shaft assemblies (13) in body assembly (14).

Install the key and gears (12) on the shaft assemblies.

Install body (9) and O-rings (10) and (11).

Install bearings (8) in body assembly (6) with Tooling (A). Install the bearings with the joint 30 15 degrees from the centerline of the dowel holes. Install the bearings to a depth of 1.50 0.25 mm (0.059 0.010 inch) below the surface of the body assembly. The inside diameter of the bearings must be 31.785 0.008 mm (1.2514 .0003 inch) after installation.
Install O-ring seal (7).

Install the key and gears (5) on the shaft assemblies.

Install bearings (4) in cover assembly (2) with Tooling (A). Install the bearings with the joint 30 15 degrees from the centerline of the dowel holes. Install the bearings to a depth of 1.50 0.25 mm (0.059 0.010 inch) below the surface of the cover assembly. The inside diameter of the bearings must be 31.785 0.008 mm (1.2514 .0003 inch) after installation.
Install O-ring seal (3).

Install cover assembly (2) and bolts (1). After assembly, the pump must turn easily. Before running the pump, lubricate the pump with power train oil. End By:
