Truck Engine News SEBD6881, 17 May 2013, "New Turbochargers and Accessories Are Now Used on Certain High Horsepower C13 Truck Engines". Disregard the previous article, refer to the article that follows.Description of Change: When ordering the new high horsepower turbochargers for C13 engines, additional parts need to be ordered to make the proper repair.Adaptable To: The new 20R-1176 Turbocharger Gp is a direct replacement for the existing 357-2110 Turbocharger Gp and the 20R-0579 Turbocharger Gp for the serial numbers listed above.Refer to the tables below for the correct part numbers needed to make the repair.Note: Failure to install the new turbocharger drain line can cause the turbocharger seal to fail and pass oil into the air system.The new parts listed in the tables are adaptable back to the first production of the above listed truck engines. The change is effective at the factory with the truck engine serial numbers LEE24965-UP.
