Remove the pump drive.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Put identification marks on all parts to aid in assembly.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure is started, clean the exterior of the components to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Note: Use a suitable lifting device to move the pump drive. The pump drive weighs approximately 39 kg (85 lb.).
Remove lube line fitting (2) from pump drive housing (1) .Note: Lube fitting (2) is fitted with an O-ring.

Remove snap ring (4) with Tool (A). Remove drive gear (3) .

Use Tool (B) to remove snap ring (6). Remove shaft (5) .

Use tooling and a suitable press in order to remove bushing (7) from pump drive housing (1) .

Remove retaining ring (8) .
Use tooling and a suitable press in order to remove bearing (9) from shaft (10) .
