Note: Before installation of the front housing, inspect the following components for any foreign materials: rear of the front housing, both sides of gasket (1) , both sides of plate (2) , both sides of gasket (3) and front face of the cylinder block. These components must be free of the following substances: oil, water, gasket adhesive, assembly compounds and any other foreign material. After assembly, trim the gaskets to the surfaces of the front housing and of the cylinder block.Use Loctite blue RTV Silicone to fill any spaces between the front housing and the cylinder block at the joint for the engine oil pan.
