The new 154-7443 Monitor Electronic Control Module will be shipped as a blank ECM. To install the new software, use Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET). While in ET, use Winflash to install the new 226-2885 Monitor Software. The new 226-2885 Monitor Software can be found in the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS)Machine Code Plugs
The Code Plug that is currently used on the machine will not change with the new Caterpillar Monitoring System.
