Which Generate This Code:This diagnostic code is associated with the VPAT thumb rocker position sensor. This sensor is installed on machines that have the VPAT blade attachment installed.This diagnostic code is recorded when the ECM determines that the thumb rocker position sensor requires calibration. This diagnostic code will clear once the calibration procedure has been performed successfully. The diagnostic code will no longer be present.Test Step 1. PERFORM CALIBRATION
Perform the calibration procedure for the thumb rocker position sensor. See the Troubleshooting, "Calibration" section in the manual.Expected Result:The calibration procedure was performed successfully.Results:
YES - The calibration procedure was performed successfully. Resume normal machine operation.STOP
NO - The calibration procedure was not performed successfully. Repair: Perform the calibration procedure again. If the calibration procedure does not correct the problem, there may be a problem in the wiring harness or in the sensor. Refer to the other troubleshooting procedures for the VPAT thumb rocker position sensor in order to troubleshoot the circuit.STOP
