Accidental machine starting can cause injury or death to personnel working on the machine.To avoid accidental machine starting, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key. If the machine is not equipped with a battery disconnect switch, disconnect the battery cables from the battery and tape the battery clamps.Place a do not operate tag at the battery disconnect switch location to inform personnel that the machine is being worked on.
Perform the following rework procedure to install the 366-0434 Timer in the fuse box:
Remove the seat, if necessary.
Open the fuse box to gain access to the Guardian wiring.

Detail of wring changes
Remove the following wires from the 70-pin bulkhead connector inside the fuse box:
Remove the unused "Aux Key Switch Power" 184-FP10-BU from pin 5.
Remove the existing "Ground" 201-FP26-BK from pin 10.
Insert both wires into a 102-8802 Receptacle Kit (2-pin DT).
Insert the following wires from the timer into the 155-2270 Connecting Plug Kit .
Insert 184-BU to pin used for 184-PF10-BU.
Insert 201-BK to pin used for 201-FP26-BK.
Connect the plug to the receptacle.
Insert the following wires from the timer into the 70-pin bulkhead connector:
Insert 184-OR into pin 5.
Insert the remaining 201-BK into pin 10.
Securely strap the timer to the existing wiring.Installing the Monitor Software
Perform the following rework procedure to install the new 366-0433 Monitor Software in VIMS Guardian:
Using VIMSpc, download the new monitor software.Note: The monitor software is available in SIS Web and at the Guardian Knowledge Network (KN) site under the "TTT" folder.
Reset the histograms and the cumulatives.
Using WinFlash, flash the new software over the existing software.Note: Software installation requires a new Software Enabled Attachment (SEA) activation. No charges will be incurred by the user for the activation.ReferenceFor SEA activation, refer to Obtaining Factory Passwords and Software Enabled Attachments, REHS1238.Verifying the Installation
Attach a portable pc to the service connector using a 127-9797 Cable .
Launch VIMSpc and start the machine.
View the real-time parameters such as "Track Speed Direction" and "Filter Status". Insure that these parameters display valid values.Note: If a parameter displays "FMI 16", then recheck the connection. If the connections are correct, then change the timer.
Activate the datalogger and run for 1 minute.
Download all data and close the fuse box.
Forward the downloaded files to the site champion.
