Secure hoist cylinder (30) to prevent movement in any direction. Remove two nuts (33), two hard washers (34), and rod (32). Use a suitable torch to remove bracket (31). Repeat this step for the opposite side. Note: Paint the torched areas.

Clean the mating surfaces of washers (2) and washer (3) free of wax, dirt, debris, paint, and grease.

Install two pin assemblies (4), two washers (2), washer (3), two plates (7), four hard washers (5), and four bolts (6).

Install two pin assemblies (9), four spacers (8), two plates (12), four hard washers (10), and four bolts (11).

Use the following steps to establish the neutral truck body down position.
Lower the truck body slowly until the rocker pads or the two front body rail pads make contact. Note: The body rail should determine the body down position.
When lowering the body to establish the neutral truck body down position, If the body rail pads make contact first, this determines the body position and no additional shims are required at the front two body pad locations. If the rocker pads make contact first, add shims (14) to the body rail pads at the location of least clearance.
Once the truck body down position is established, add shims (14) for the remaining body rail pads and for the rocker pads to minimize the gaps between the body rail pads, the rocker pads, and the corresponding contact surfaces.
Tighten 36 bolts (16) and 36 nuts (17).
