1. Loosen cylinder clamp assembly (1) and remove ether cylinder assembly (2), the used gasket, and the dirt collar from valve assembly (3). 2. Place cap (3) in valve assembly (4) to avoid system contamination. Disconnect wire harness (5) at the electrical connection. 3. Disconnect tube (8) from valve assembly (3). Remove two bolts (6), the two nuts, the washers and valve assembly (3) from filter bracket assembly (7). The following steps are for the installation of the ether starting aid.4. Make sure all components of the ether starting aid are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation.5. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary.6. Install valve assembly (3), two bolts (6), the two nuts, and the washers to filter bracket assembly (7). Connect tube (8) to valve assembly (3).7. Connect wire harness (5) at the electrical connection. Remove cap (4) from valve assembly (3).8. Install the new gasket and dirt collar, provided with the new cylinder to ether valve assembly (3). Install new ether cylinder assembly (2) in valve assembly (3). Tighten cylinder (2) hand tight. Tighten cylinder clamp assembly (1).
